Woom Bike Return Policy (What´s Covered + More)

Woom Bike Return Policy

John, do you know what Woom bike return policy is? This is one of the questions my readers ask a lot. Well, I´ve got you covered.

Woom bikes have become the go-to bikes for parents everywhere, as their innovative designs and lightweight aluminum make them the perfect fit for kids of all ages. Known for their safety features and their UpCycle program that grows with your child, these bikes have become synonymous with childhood adventure.

Even if you don’t utilize their UpCycle program, Woom still offers a fair return policy. For bikes purchased between January and October, Woom offers a full refund within 30 days. For bikes purchased during the holiday season in November and December, customers can receive a full refund within 60 days.

Bikes Purchase Between January-October

If you purchase a bike directly from Woom, you can return it with a full refund within 30 days of your purchase.

The bike will be refunded in full and the refund will also include domestic shipping fees for sending it back; however, there are no refunds available for the original shipping cost that delivered the bike to you.

Once Woom receives the bike back, the refund will be processed in 5-7 business days. To return your bike, visit Woom’s website and go to the page “Returns/ Warranty.”

There you will find an option that says “click here for return label.”

Woom will send you the return shipping label, and all you have to do is pack and deliver it to Woom. If you are returning multiple items, such as a bike and bike accessories, Woom requests that you send them in separate packages.

If you are returning multiple bikes, also pack them individually.

Bikes Purchased in November and December

Woom understands that many of their bikes are gifted for the holiday season and so they offer a longer window for returns for purchases bought in November and December.

If you received a bike as a gift or purchased one directly from Woom in November and December, you have 60 days to return it for a full refund minus the original shipping cost.

If you received the bike as a gift, you have 60 days from the time you received it, not from when it was purchased.

To begin the return process, visit Woom’s website and go to the “Returns/ Warranty” section. Go to “click here for return label.” If you have multiple bikes or accessories to return, send them in separate packages.

Once Woom receives the returns, you will receive a full refund including the domestic return shipping costs in 5-7 business days.

Warranty Information

Woom offers a fair warranty and is willing to work with its customers on a case-by-case basis if something goes awry.

Woom’s warranty for their bike frames and forks extends to five years and is 24 months for all other components.

The warranty covers obvious defects, but not normal damages caused by crashes, wear and tear, or misuse.

For obvious defects, simply send a picture to Woom and they will help you. If a part of your bike breaks or is stolen, Woom will work with you and offer items at a cost in some cases.

Customer Support for Returns

Woom offers many ways to reach its customer support team if you need assistance with returns, refunds, or warranty issues.

Customers may email them at usa@woombikes.com or give them a call at 855-966-6872.

Customers can also find more information on Woom’s website under their “Returns/ Warranty” and “Frequently Asked Questions” tabs.

WOOM bikes FAQs

What makes WOOM bikes unique?

A lot of children’s bikes on the market are just smaller versions of adult bikes and don’t consider what children actually need.

Woom bikes are unique because they are designed for children’s safety and ease of ride with features like lightweight aluminum, a narrow-wide chainring, and ergonomic locking grips to fit tiny hands.

Where are WOOM bikes manufactured?

Woom bikes are manufactured in Poland, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Bangladesh with over half being produced in Poland.

Woom is a family-run business that started in the family’s garage in Vienna and has since expanded worldwide.

Woom currently has a US branch in Austin, TX run by one of the family members.

Can I return a bike to a WOOM store?

Customers cannot return a bike to a Woom store in the USA, as there aren’t any brick-and-mortar shop locations. There is a fulfillment center in Austin, TX that offers a local pickup option, though.

Does the warranty cover all WOOM bikes?

Woom’s 5-year warranty covers all bikes.

What is the WOOM UpCycle program?

Customers can pay a one-time $59 member fee per child to join. Once your child outgrows their current bike or it’s been two years, you can return the original bike and get a new bike one size up for a 40% discount.

Woom inspects the old bike for safety and then gives it to a family in need so more kids can enjoy it.

Which WOOM bike is best for my child?

The Woom original is the best place to start. This bike is for children between 18 months and 14 years old with bike sizes ranging from one to six.

If your child is using their bike for transport to school, the Woom Now urban lifestyle bike is best. It is made for ages six and up and comes in three sizes.

If your child wants to take the bike off-road, the Woom Off and Off Air is for kids ages six and up, available in six different sizes.

The Woom Up bike is an e-mountain bike with two sizes for kids ages seven and up.
